BRIEF: High school students can see 'Summerland' for free


Jan 18, 2013 (The Gazette - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Theatre Cedar Rapids is offering high school students free tickets to "The Summerland Project." The theater feels that the production has much to offer from a science, humanities and English standpoint. It raises questions in regard to humanity, science and how the two intersect.



"It's the story of a husband who is given the chance to possibly bring his dead wife back to life through a very revolutionary medical procedure," says playwright Rob Merritt, 36, of Cedar Rapids.
