BlueStripe Software Experiences Significant Growth in 2012

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Research Triangle Park, NC (PRWEB) January 16, 2013 BlueStripe Software marked the completion of 2012 as a record year of customer and revenue growth, market changing application and transaction monitoring product innovation, and continued analyst and industry recognition of IT Management leadership.

BlueStripe 2012 revenue grew 359 percent over 2011. The company grew net new customers by 31 percent, and saw significant growth in repurchases by existing customers. New customers included companies like Husqvarna Group, Coastal Federal Credit Union, Lafarge and Raymond James Financial.

"The Application and Transaction Management segment of the IT Management market is continuing to grow steadily, and BlueStripe's growth is significantly outpacing the market," said Chris Neal, BlueStripe co-founder and CEO. "BlueStripe's continued explosive growth highlights the need for application monitoring tools built for IT Operations." 2012 was also a year of sustained IT Management innovation, with the introduction of several new capabilities and upgrades to the company’s flagship FactFinder™ transaction monitoring solution. In particular, the company introduced:    •  Correlatron™ transaction analytics – a unique analytics engine built into FactFinder that provides statistical correlation and analysis of transaction dependency and performance information to give users a short list of suspect areas - and a fast-path to the actual problem.

   •  WebSphere® and WebLogic Platform monitoring for IT Operations – a new capability that allows IT Operations teams to solve operational and administrative issues on Java platforms - eliminating the need to have developers involved in every Java platform problem.

   •  TransactionLink™ technology – which identifies and follows each discrete transaction across the entire application infrastructure – across both the data center and the cloud. TransactionLink gives IT Operations teams the visibility into transaction performance at each node and between each node, allowing for pinpoint identification of problem areas for individual transactions.

The new capabilities combine to make FactFinder a complete IT Performance and Availability Management solution – providing a holistic, application-level view, performance details for each individual transaction, and drill-down performance data of individual server stacks.

BlueStripe earned high industry praise in 2012 as well, with Gartner naming the company a “Cool Vendor” in its “Cool Vendors in Application Performance Monitoring 2012” report. The Cool Vendors report evaluates selected vendors that have innovative, impactful and intriguing solutions in the Application Performance Monitoring segment of IT Operations management software. The company was also awarded Gold status in the Business Transaction Management category in the Golden Bridge Awards.

BlueStripe FactFinder monitors all end-to-end business transactions, automatically discovering and mapping all transaction paths. FactFinder measures transaction performance everywhere they go, hop by hop, across the entire data center and through the cloud. When performance or availability problems occur, FactFinder follows the slow or hung transaction right to the problem component, and then drills down the server stack to determine why the problem occurred.

Leveraging the company’s continued success and ability to address the inherent challenges and complexities associated with evolving infrastructures, BlueStripe is uniquely positioned to support enterprise customers as they move critical applications to hybrid cloud environments, and to further cement itself as a premier solution for IT Operations.
