BRIEF: Chamber banquet set for Jan. 17MOULTRIE, Jan 10, 2013 (The Moultrie Observer - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce has announced the 103rd Annual Banquet scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m. at the C.A. Gray Junior High School Cafeteria. General seating will begin at 6:45 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Chamber members and guests are invited to attend this special evening of dinner and fellowship. This year's banquet will feature "The Blue Holler" band with an assortment of bluegrass favorites. The announcement of the Community Service Awards including Man of the Year, Woman of the Year, and Agri-Businessman of the Year will be another exciting event of the evening as well. Colquitt County citizens nominated by area clubs, churches, businesses, schools, and individuals will be honored for their commendable service to our community. "We invite all chamber members and citizens of Colquitt County to come to the annual dinner," said Darrell Moore, the president of the Moultrie-Colquitt County Chamber of Commerce and Development Authority.
