Bureau Veritas: 7Layers Acquisition Accelerates Development in the Wireless and Mobile IndustryJan 10, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Bureau Veritas announced it has completed the acquisition of 7Layers, a specialist in wireless electronic products testing, certification and engineering solutions, headquartered in Germany. 7Layers' expertise, global coverage and established position will complement Bureau Veritas' existing presence within global brands and their supply chains. According to a release, the acquisition positions Bureau Veritas as a global leader in wireless testing, almost doubling its footprint in a fast growing market. The wireless testing market will continue to experience significant growth for years to come, especially with continued innovation in the Machine to Machine (M2M) and telecommunications sectors.
