Griffin Expands Kid-Friendly KaZoo Line at CES 2013 Rolling Out Animal-Inspired Headphones, Cases & Accessories

They also debut a new Capper Stylus line of pencil-toppers which enable full functionality on capacitive touchscreens.

Kids can have fun and get wild with KaZoo Headphones, $19.99, from Griffin. These over-the-ear headphones have built-in volume-limiting circuitry that keeps sound pressure down to levels recommended as safe for young ears. Kazoo Headphones are durably constructed and fully adjustable. Comfortable cushions make them perfect for kids. KaZoo Headphones come in two different animal friends, Penguin or Frog, and will be available February 2013.


Everyone loves going to the zoo. Now kids can take their favorite zoo animal with them wherever they go, with KaZoo Cases for iPod touch, $24.99. These fun animal cases are made of soft yet durable silicone, and the friendly animal cases give kids easy access to their iPod touch's Multi-Touch display and headphone jack. KaZoo cases come in a variety of fun animal friends including a Lion, Elephant, Zebra, Monkey, Penguin or Panda. Kids can also download the free KaZooKeeper App to customize their screen backgrounds to match the theme of their cases. Charms attach to a 7' lanyard made of wrist-friendly, soft, smooth, shiny fabric. Simply slide the attachment loop through the pop-up lanyard connector on the iPod touch, and snap on the KaZoo animal companion charm. Each cable is designed to be kid-proof, with heavy-duty cable jackets and strain relief built into each plug. These 3-foot long AUX cables come in fun colors and themes, including caterpillar/butterfly, elephant/peanut or dog/bone. KaZoo AUX cables will be available February 2013.

In line with Griffin's youth offerings debuting at CES is Capper Stylus - a removable stylus that slides on, like a pencil topper, to the eraser-end of a No. 2 pencil, transforming the pencil into a touchscreen stylus that works on all capacitive touchscreens. With Capper Stylus, kids have a pencil that still works on paper and now, also on a touchscreen. Capper Styluses comes in three different shapes and colors, including pencil, rocket, and ice cream cone, and will be available for $9.99 March 2013.
