No need for a remote control, this television is controlled by eye movements. Change the channel, scroll through contextual menus, or adjust the volume by simply moving your eyes. You can even blink to select menu choices. The system also allows you to read blogs, news or social networks. Mind-control television Imagine a television that read your thoughts. This technology has been developed by Haier in collaboration with NeuroSky, a medical company and leader in the use of electroencephalograms. Using a sensory 'Brain Wave' headset, electric impulses transmitted by the brain are analysed and transformed into intelligible signals used to control an electronic device. From now on, your mental strength will allow you to control your television! Voice or gesture-control television Gesture-control TV allows users to control all a television's basic functions or access specific content with an arm movement or with voice commands (via a Smartphone used as a microphone). 3D gesture-control TV: you are the remote control No need for a remote control, you are the remote control! The integrated camera in this television detects a user's movements and interprets them for games or apps. This television responds almost instantly and analyses 60 images per second, scrutinising every movement! It also allows for multiple users within an 8.2m radius. This television works in large or small rooms and even under low-light conditions. Visitors to CES are invited to Haier's stand to immerse themselves in 3D games! But it isn't over yet for the remote control! Haier presents two prototypes of innovative remote controls A high-performance ultra-sensitive remote control: The viewer can move the Haier Sensitive Remote Control to scroll, point and click on content shown on the screen. This remote control is also equipped with a 9-axis gyroscope, which allows fast and precise navigation. A mini sensitive remote control: At CES 2013 Haier also presents a smaller sized remote control with a 6-axis gyroscope, ideal for controlling a connected TV. The remote boasts an elegant and eye-catching pebble-shaped design. See life in Ultra High Definition Because the little details matter, Haier has chosen to launch its first Ultra High Definition televisions. Having presented a 50'' UD screen at IFA 2012, Haier is now unveiling three 4K screens in 50'', 65'' and 84'' sizes! These televisions have a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, 4 times more than full HD. The image is richer, cleaner and more detailed than ever, even when close up to the screen! Multi-View: two images simultaneously on the whole screen No more fighting over which film to watch! On this Multi-View TV, two people can watch separate programmes at the same time. This is made possible by splitting a 3D signal into two different pictures for the two persons. The Multi-View television separates the 3D into two 2D images showing only what they right eye should see for one pair of glasses and only what the left eye should see for the other pair of glasses. As a result, with 3D glasses, viewers can watch two different images on the same television. One programme is diffused by USB, and the other via an HDMI port. Glasses-free 3D Technology Haier exhibits the prototype 55" (139 cm) glasses-free 3D LED television. This technological advancement lets users watch films in 3D without glasses. The Haier 3D TV utilises unique cylindrical lens technology offers 28 different viewing angles, improving the line of sight and allowing several viewers to enjoy 3D images. This technology might be easily applied to situations when information or instructions need to be displayed in 3D to the general public.
