MC10 Featured in Museum of Science "Invented Here!" Program

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --(Business Wire)--

Each Sunday in January, the Museum of Science is presenting an inside look at MC10's virtually invisible, conformal electronics technology. Part of its Invented Here! program, the Museum of Science is celebrating MC10 as one of New England's most innovative companies.

The Museum of Science Invented Here! program recognizes breakthrough technologies that shape the way people interact with each other and with the world around them, fulfill important individual and/or social needs in novel ways, and ensure a more sustainable future for humanity and the environment. On Sunday January 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th, at 12:30 p.m. in the Gordon Current Science and Technology Center, museum attendees will be treated to an in-depth look at MC10's award-winning, conformal electronics platform.

"It's a real treat to see our effors showcased to visitors of the Museum of Science," said David Icke, CEO of MC10. "We hope our work helps to inspire the next generation of inventors and entrepreneurs!"

MC10 literally reshapes traditional electronics into new forms that can stretch bend and flex, and into next-generation products that fundamentally transform how we interact with electronics. MC10 is currently developing products that can be used both on and inside the body, including sensors that monitor head impact, heart rate, brain activity, muscle function, body temperature and hydration, as well as an entirely new class of intelligent medical devices with embedded sensors for enhanced sensing and therapeutic capabilities. The company recently announced the first of its consumer products, the Sports Impact Indicator co-developed with Reebok.
