First phase of repair of the historic bridge began in September last year, which will see completion in a year's time. AMC currently is replacing damaged wooden parts of the bridge and strengthening the iron parts. The Rs2.49-crore restoration project also involves upkeep of the immediate premises. The second phase will include developing the landscape of areas close to the bridge. ""Cyclathon After marathons, AMC has taken a step ahead and organised a cyclathon on January 27.
