BRIEF: Boulder weather: Up to an inch of snow expected today

Today's forecast calls for cloudy skies with a high near 19 and winds 5 to 8 mph. There is a 40 percent chance of snow, with up to an inch of daytime snow accumulation possible. The overnight low is expected to be near 3, with wind chill as low as -6. There is a 20 percent chance of snow before midnight.

The forecast for New Year's Day calls for mostly sunny skies with a high near 26 and wind chill as low as -6. The overnight low is expected to be near 2, with wind chill as low as -9.


Wednesday's forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 29 and winds 6 mph. The overnight low is expected to be near 7.
