Citycable deploys Casa Systems' C10G Cable Modem Termination systemDec 25, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Casa Systems, a provider of cable edge technology, has announced that its C10G Cable Modem Termination system, or CMTS, has been selected by Citycable, a cable operator of Lausanne, Switzerland, to support its growth in video, voice, and high speed data services to its residential and business customers. "We had been looking for a vendor whose existing CMTS could handle our explosive growth today, while providing a migration path to higher density multimedia services like CCAP," said Jon Martin, Engineering Manager at Citycable. "After an extensive evaluation it was clear that Casa System's C10G was the only platform to meet those requirements and provide a solid return on our investment."
