BRIEF: Manatee sheriff releases photo of home invasion suspect


MANATEE, Dec 20, 2012 (The Bradenton Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The Manatee County Sheriff's Office has released a photo of a possible suspect in a Dec. 12 home invasion robbery.

About 9:10 p.m., the female victim returned home from dinner and entered her residence in the 4300 block of Fairfax Drive in East Manatee. A short time later, someone rang the door bell, according to a news release.

The woman looked out and didn't see anyone. As she opened the door, the suspect forced his way into the residence and demanded money and other items, the sheriff's office said.

The woman complied, and then the suspect forced her into a closet and fled, according to the report.



The suspect was described as standing 5 feet, 6 inches to 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 150 to 165 pounds. He had medium dreadlocks and was wearing a green T-shirt and jeans.
