Cisco Systems to acquire BroadHop


Dec 19, 2012 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Cisco Systems, Inc., a designer, manufacturer and seller of internet protocol (IP)-based networking and other products, has agreed to acquire BroadHop, Inc., a provider of service and policy management solutions for Internet protocol (IP) triple-play networks. Both the companies are based in the US.



Earlier in 2009, BroadHop had secured funding from Boulder Ventures, Ltd. and Peninsula Ventures.
