Wolfe Selects Open Data Centers' Piscataway Facility to Be Its First Northeast Point-of-Presence

PISCATAWAY, N.J. --(Business Wire)--

Open Data Centers (ODC) announced today that Wolfe selected ODC's Piscataway, NJ facility to be its first POP in the Northeast. Wolfe serves several existing ODC customers, and is able to leverage ODC's carrier-friendly operating environment in order to service its growing East coast customer base.

"We are very excited to partner with Open Data Centers on this project," commented Michael Scott, General Manager of Wolfe. "ODC can turn around cross connects in a matter of hours, and their one-time cross connect fee model is very favorable for carriers looking to expand their footprint. We have access to many other transport providers at our fingertips."

Wolfe intends to use Piscataway as an interconnection point for its already substantial transport network, based predominantly in the Northwest, which began with the deployment of low-latency, high speed, transport facilities cross country. Wolfe joins a growing list of fiber providers, incumbent local exchange carriers, competitive local exchange carriers, transport providers, ISPs and voice services providers already present in the facility.

"Several ODC customers have already begun leveraging Wolfe's strong presence," said Erik Levitt, CEO of Open Data Centers. "The partnership between ODC, Wolfe and other data center customers exemplifies the true benefits of carrier-neutral colocation, and we are proud to facilitate the relationships and interconnections between our carrier partners."
