Helzberg Diamonds on Wednesday launched the smartphone application, Proposal Pro: A Complete Guide to Popping the Question. It's available for download via the iTunes and Google Play stores. According to the Kansas City company, this is the time of year when love is in the air, with nearly a third of engagements occuring between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day. To help you navigate through those anxious moments of the engagement experience, the app offers practical information on everything from asking her parents to finding the perfect ring for her finger. "Proposing marriage is the most important question you'll ever ask," Beryl Raff, chairman and chief executive of Helzberg Diamonds said in a statement. "But, there are not many resources available to guide you through the process. This app walks you through every aspect" leading up to the big moment. The app includes information on how to select the ring, understand the characteristics of diamonds and plan for the moment of the actual proposal. The app lets you create a proposal timeline, browse locations to select the perfect proposal spot and even determine her size by placing an existing ring on the screen. There's even a "proposal generator," where you can create a proposal plan created based on personal information.
