BRIEF: Deadline is Monday to apply for state government internshipsDec 05, 2012 (Winston-Salem Journal - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The deadline for North Carolina college students who are interested in applying for state government internships is Monday. There are up to 75 summer internships available. The interns will be paid a stipend of $8.25 per hour for a 40 work week. The internships will last for 10 weeks. The internships are open to North Carolina residents attending a college, technical institute or community college. Internships are available throughout North Carolina in various fields of study. The interns also take part in seminars, tours and other activities. The internships begin May 20 and end July 26.
