Soraa and IESNYC Hold Lighting PlugFest Media Event at Control This! 2012

--(Business Wire)--

Soraa:

WHAT:

In an effort to remove barriers to the rapid adoption of LED lighting, Soraa will sponsor the lighting industry's first PlugFest in conjunction with the Illuminating Engineering Society of New York City (IESNYC) at their annual Control This! event. One of the greatest hurdles to the adoption of LED lighting today is the incompatibility between LED lamps or fixtures and the installed base of legacy control gear and dimmers, which are largely designed for incandescent, halogen, or fluorescent lamps. Lighting PlugFest affords participants the opportunity to test their products and identify underlying compatibility issues.
