Nlyte Announces Nergize Technology Partner Program

LAS VEGAS --(Business Wire)--

Gartner (News - Alert) Data Center Conference - Nlyte Software, the leader in Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) industry, today announced its Nergize Technology Partner program enabling members to rapidly deliver complementary value to the Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) marketplace. With today's announcement, Nlyte is strengthening its eco-system partnering opportunities. The Nergize Technology Partnering program is made possible by the recent release of the Nlyte NgaugeAPITM data services integration interface.

The Nergize Technology Partner program offers two levels of integration endorsement. Gold level Nergize partners will offer customers an integrated product that has been jointly engineered and tested by Nlyte to work with current and all future versions of Nlyte software. These partners will carry the Gold Nergize logo, stating "Certified by Nlyte." Silver level Nergize partners will offer solutions that have been demonstrated to integrate but will be self-certified and self-tested by the partner themselves on an on-going basis. These partners will represent their solutions using the Silver Nergize logo, stating "Works with Nlyte". Products and solutions that meet the Nlyte Nergize requirement can display the appropriate logo.

"The industry has made it very clear that each of their unique data center infrastructure management requirements are best satisfied when a range of complementary solutions are brought together and integrated. No single vendor can deliver everything as there are simply too many variables. The market is looking for solid eco-systems to form and Nlyte is taking the lead on bringing vendors together to offer rapid time to value," said Mark Harris, Nlyte Software's vice president of marketing and data center strategy. "With the Nergize technology partner program, Nlyte is taking the clear lead in the data center infrastructure management space. Today we have more than a dozen solutions which have already enrolled in this program and we invite any complementary solution vendor to join us in building the robust solutions that customers demand."

Complementary products that wish to bear the Nergize logo require successful completion of integration and interoperability testing. Only Nlyte offers such a thorough, well-documented data services integration approach with its NgaugeAPI. Customers can rely on these products and solutions to be interoperable with the Nlyte data center management suite and to immediately deliver significant and complementary features and value.

"We are pleased to be one of the first Gold Nergize partners," says Calvin Nicholson, Server Technology's (News - Alert) senior director of software and firmware development. "We have vast real-time power information from devices that use power at the PDU level that we aggregate and then publish upstream to Nlyte's core offering. Our system, much like Nlyte's, was designed for these deeper, richer system to system integrations."
