BRIEF: Jewelry, electronics valued at more than $35,000 stolen from Ellenton home


MANATEE, Nov 29, 2012 (The Bradenton Herald - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Electronics and jewelry valued at approximately $35,000 were stolen from a home in Ellenton Wednesday afternoon, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.



Sometime between 2:45 and 4:45 p.m., a home in the 4200 block of 70th Avenue East was burglarized when an unknown suspect or suspects smashed the master bedroom window.

Approximately $35,000 worth of jewelry was stolen in addition to three flat-screen televisions and three laptop computers, according to the sheriff's office.


The suspect or suspects fled in an unknown direction by unknown means. Deputies canvassed the neighborhood without results.

No suspect or suspect vehicle has been identified. There are no witnesses or video footage of the incident, according to the sheriff's office.
