Jackson National Life: 2012 Record Breaking Year for Marketing Team


Nov 27, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Jackson National Life Insurance Company said that its marketing department has had a record-breaking year, earning 32 awards from various industry and communications organizations throughout 2012.



In a release, the Company said that this achievement is a significant increase from 2011 and 2010, in which its marketing materials took home 23 accolades each year, respectively. Jackson, a provider of investment and retirement solutions with nearly $130 billion in assets, received recognition for several of the company's recent marketing collateral, educational pieces and electronic elements.

Overall, Jackson took home 12 accolades at the 18th Annual Communicator Awards, five at the 23rd Annual Apex Awards, six at the 79th Annual Insurance and Financial Communicators Association (IFCA) Awards and nine at the 54th Annual Insurance Marketing and Communications Association (IMCA) Awards. All four organizations honor creative excellence and recognize outstanding marketing and communications materials.


Jackson said that multimedia collateral in support of Jackson's newest variable annuity product, Elite Access, garnered five total awards, including a Grand Award from Apex, an Award of Distinction and an Award of Excellence from the Communicator Awards, an Award of Excellence from IMCA and an Award of Excellence from IFCA. The awards recognized an animated, multimedia video featuring noted actor and economist, Ben Stein ( youtube.com/watch v=B498Epzh0n4), as well as the material's innovative and creative packaging campaign. In addition to the multimedia collateral, Elite Access' brochure, microsite and overall campaign materials garnered four more awards.

We're honored that our work has been consistently recognized for its effectiveness and creativity and we are extremely proud of our talented team." Jackson won yet another IMCA Best of Show award for its "Strength in Motion" brochure, a piece that outlines the organization's financial strength and breadth of retirement product solutions. In addition to the Best of Show achievement, the brochure earned an Award of Distinction from the Communicator Awards and an Award of Excellence from IMCA.

Jackson's marketing department is based at the company's distribution office, located in Denver, Colorado.
