ITS selects Intergraph SmartMarine 3D softwareNov 26, 2012 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, or ITS, a technology university in Indonesia, has selected Intergraph SmartMarine 3D for use in its Department of Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding Engineering. The university decided to partner with Intergraph and offer SmartMarine 3D as part of its curriculum for the Faculty of Marine Technology in the Department of Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding Engineering. Students at ITS will be trained in Intergraph's next-generation technology and become engineers, ready to apply their knowledge and expertise in SmartMarine 3D when they join the work force. Students will also learn SmartSketch, Intergraph's engineering and drafting product. "ITS has the responsibility to provide our students access to the latest and most advanced technology so that they can build up the required skills in their field for the best career prospects," said Ika Pria Utama, professor and head of the Department of Naval Architecture and Shipbuilding Engineering at ITS.
