(Capital (Annapolis, MD) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Chartwell staff changes The Board of Directors of Chartwell Golf & Country Club has named Michael Fay its new general manager among several executive staff changes. Cati Mitchell is the club's new event planner, Todd Weisz has been selected as executive chef and Robert Agresti will be the new head PGA Golf Professional.



Fay has more than 20 years of management experience including private clubs. Among his previous stops are Woods Hole Golf Club on Cape Cod and Augusta Country Club in Augusta, Ga. Mitchell has 10 years of wedding and catering experience including The Historic Inns of Annapolis and Annapolis Waterfront Marriott Hotel.

Weisz was educated at The Culinary Institute of America and has more than 21 years of experience. He was the executive food and beverage director at Turnberry Isle Resort & Club in Miami. Most recently, he was the corporate chef for Phillips Seafood, where he oversaw the daily restaurant operations in the Maryland and Pennsylvania market.


Agresti has 11 years of experience including the previous four as first assistant at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pa.

Lytle returns to Hyatt Sales and leasing associate Harriet Lytle has returned to Hyatt Commercial after a seven-year hiatus. Lytle specializes in sales and leasing of office, retail and industrial properties. She recently returned to the area from Utah.

AAHS names officers The Anne Arundel Health System Board of Trustees has named new officers and three new members for 2013. The new officers are: Chair Biana Arentz, Vice Chair Edward Gosselin, Treasurer Admiral Charles Larson (ret.) and Secretary Kent McNew.

AAHS also named new board members. They are Dr. George K. Anderson, Alan J. Hyatt and John P. Kopkowski. Anderson is the executive director of the Association of Military Surgeons of the United States. Hyatt is the founding partner of the Hyatt & Weber P.A. law firm. Kopkowski retired from the National Security Agency in 2000 after more than 35 years of service.
