BRIEF: Person robbed at Kutztown University apartment complex


Nov 16, 2012 (Reading Eagle - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Kutztown University police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred Thursday night in the Golden Bear Village South Complex on the south edge of the campus.



The victim was approached by two males, one of whom showed a handgun, sometime between 8 and 9, police said. The victim, who wasn't identified by age or gender, reported the robbery to police at 10:20.

According to police: After robbing the victim of an undisclosed amount of money, the robbers fled into the apartment complex. Police believe the males may have followed the victim to the complex from the ATM located at the South Dining Hall.


The victim wasn't injured.

The first robber, who displayed the handgun, was described as a black male about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a full beard. He was wearing a maroon university hoodie, blue jeans and black skull cap. The other suspect was described as a black male about 5 feet 8 inches tall who was wearing a green hoodie.
