BASF sponsors LSU Professor of Excellence


Nov 16, 2012 (M2 PRESSWIRE via COMTEX) -- BATON ROUGE and GEISMAR, LA -- BASF Corporation recognized James Honeycutt, Ph.D., of Louisiana State University (LSU) as the first BASF Professor of Excellence during the LSU-Mississippi State football game on Saturday, Nov. 10.

The award is sponsored through a partnership with the LSU Cox Communications Academic Center for Student-Athletes.

He has won numerous research awards including the Distinguished Book of the Year in 2006 by the social cognition division of the National Communication Association for his book on imagined interactions. He currently teaches classes at LSU focusing on emotion and communication, relationships and family dynamics.
