CradlePoint Expands Leadership Team with New Vice President of Marketing and Product Management


Boise, ID, Nov 16, 2012 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- CradlePoint, a global leader in 3G/4G networking solutions for distributed enterprises, today announced the appointment of Tom Loutzenheiser as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management. Loutzenheiser, who will report directly to CEO and Chairman of the Board, George Mulhern, will be tasked with leading the strategic development of CradlePoint's product and marketing initiatives.



With more than 26 years of experience in the technology industry, Loutzenheiser brings extensive knowledge of product development and product management to his position at CradlePoint. He will also oversee all marketing functions.

"As a technologist and an entrepreneur, Tom's experience in driving new companies to market leadership will prove invaluable as CradlePoint develops new networking solutions and enters its next phase of rapid growth." In 1992, Loutzenheiser co-founded Apexx Technology, an early pioneer of Internet server appliances. As Chairman and CEO, he grew Apexx into an Inc. 500 company. More recently, as CEO of Telemetric Corporation, Loutzenheiser led the firm to market leadership in wireless "smart grid" automation solutions for the electric utility industry. With Loutzenheiser's help, Telemetric created a SaaS offering with profitable recurring revenue from over 200 utilities in North America. He guided both companies to profitable market leadership and successful mergers. He also held various engineering, marketing and sales roles at IBM and Extended Systems, Inc.


Loutzenheiser has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington and an MS in Engineering Management from Stanford University.
