BRIEF: Latino Role Model Conference in Santa Cruz planned for SaturdayNov 14, 2012 (Santa Cruz Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Santa Cruz City Schools' third annual Latino Role Model Conference starts at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Harbor High School, 300 La Fonda Ave. The event is for students and family members who are considering attending college. Speakers will include attorneys, public safety officials, teachers, business people and television reporters. There is no cost. After snacks are served, the conference runs to 2 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
