First 5 California Partners With Local Counties to Distribute Its Free Kit for New Parents in Asian Communities
SACRAMENTO, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
First 5 California, in partnership with local counties, is offering new
and expecting parents in California's Asian communities its
award-winning Kit for New Parents. This free parenting resource
includes practical information on everything from prenatal care through
the first five years of life.
Contents include a comprehensive guide for the first five years, a
health and illness handbook, a touch-and-feel baby book, and important
information on literacy and learning, child safety, nutrition,
discipline, developmental milestones, quality childcare and more. The
free Kit, valued at $75, is available in four Asian languages
including Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Vietnamese, as well as in
English and Spanish.
