BRIEF: iPhone 5 Ripped From Woman's Hand In Hartford, Police Say


HARTFORD, Nov 13, 2012 (The Hartford Courant - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- A woman had an iPhone 5 ripped out of her hand in a grocery store late Monday, police said.

The robbery happened shortly before 11:30 p.m. inside Sammy's Supermarket, 1480 Albany Ave. police said.

A man asked to see the woman's cell phone, and she refused, they said, after which the man forcefully pulled the phone out of her hand.

The iPhone 5 is a new generation of the smart phone that was introduced in September.
