Matt Ghiloni, Safety and Environmental Manager, Facilities for Konecranes, Receives Safety Leader of the Year AwardSPRINGFIELD, Ohio, Nov 13, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- On November 13, 2012, Matt Ghiloni, Safety and Environmental Manager Factories, and Facilities and Machine Tool Service for Konecranes, was awarded "Safety Leader of the Year" by the Clark County Ohio's Safety Council. This is the sixth year the Springfield Safety Council has recognized a Safety Leader of the Year in Clark County. Nominations for the award were submitted all year from companies throughout Clark County. Ghiloni was selected unanimously for the award. The purpose of the award is to recognize those responsible for creating and leading a safety culture in the community. Ghiloni began his career with Konecranes in 2006. Since then, he has worked his way to Factory and Facilities Safety Manager. As Safety Manager, he is responsible for all areas concerning safety, environmental and facilities management. Throughout his career, he has created a safety team and auditing processes within the facilities, as well as implementing several recycling and pollution prevention programs.
