Big Red Rooster Announces Staff Changes


COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Big Red Rooster, a multidimensional brand experience firm that creates the touchpoints, environments, communications, products and services of tomorrow, announced six new hires and one promotion across its Atlanta, Phoenix and Columbus, Ohio offices today.



The firm named Michael Stephenson director of experience strategy. In his new role, Stephenson helps clients decode consumers' attitudes, motivations and behaviors, which ultimately fuel innovative design and experiences. He previously served as a senior strategist at Big Red Rooster's Columbus Office.

Atlanta Office hires include: Rhett C. DeBuys joined the firm as a senior architect. As a licensed architect with private and public sector design and construction experience, DeBuys heads an in-house design team for one of Big Red Rooster's Atlanta-based foodservice clients. Before joining the firm, he held a senior design architect/associate position at Rosser International Inc.


Columbus Office hires include: Project Manager John Hamlett possesses nearly 20 years experience in retail and restaurant design. In his new role, Hamlett develops and manages environmental design documentation and implementation for Big Red Rooster's clients. He previously held a position at WD Partners.

Tricia Reisch joined the team as vice president of experience strategy. With more than 25 years of strategic research and consulting expertise focused on retailers and consumer packaged goods companies, Reisch specializes in translating consumer-driven insights into experience design strategies that drive client growth. She previously worked as a retail strategy director at Resource Interactive.

Design Associate Matthew Shea creates compelling web and print designs, motion graphics and animations. Before joining Big Red Rooster, Shea freelanced at 2Shea Creative.

Phoenix Office hires include: CAD Technician Fernando Barraza develops construction documents for various retail and restaurant architectural rollout projects. Barraza worked as a freelance designer before joining the firm.

Russell M. Baumann joined the team as architect of record. With more than 21 years industry experience, he oversees construction document production and provides quality control. He possesses experience working on projects differing in size and complexity, including restaurant, ecclesiastical, collegiate, education, multi-family and retail environments.
