Aclara Announces Support for U.S. Department of Energy Green Button Initiative Improving Consumer Access to Usage InformationST. Since then, six of Aclara's utility clients have fully deployed Green Button's Download My Data solution to almost six million customers, who can access up to 13 months of standardized consumption data using the Green Button feature of Aclara's consumer engagement software. Download My Data allowed consumers to download energy-use data in a standard format to their computers. Connect My Data takes Green Button a step further, allowing continuous, automated downloads to third-party applications that can help consumers analyze their energy use and make intelligent conservation decisions.
