Germany : German Electronics Market Attracts Investors [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Germany Trade & Invest releases new Electronic Manufacturing Services fact sheet The European Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) market is expected to grow by more than 10 percent annually between 2011 and 2017, attracting EMS companies to Germany. The increase is expected to stem from EMS firms providing electronics to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) at low costs.

The German electronics field is attractive to investors, especially given the strong demand in the traditional automotive and industrial fields. Additionally, heightened demand for renewable energies and electromedical technologies are now calling for greater EMS activity. Germany Trade & Invest has compiled opportunities for investors in the latest EMS fact sheet.

"OEMs and EMS providers work together around the world to produce some of the most important products we use every day. With Germany's strong industrial base, there are huge opportunities for electronics manufacturing services in Germany. This cooperation is more efficient and cost-effective," stated Max Milbredt, electronics expert at Germany Trade & Invest.

Despite the strong automotive sector in Germany, there is a low EMS provider penetration rate. A recent study by Frost & Sullivan marked the rate at just 12 percent, although the call for electronics in vehicle manufacturing is increasing. Limited investment coupled with high demand in the industry makes Germany a hotspot for EMS firms.

The automotive field is not the only market with promise. The planned nuclear phase-out in Germany has created the world's largest renewable energy laboratory. EMS has even more possibilities to expand in the areas of green power and smart grids. Another point of entry for EMS companies stems from electromedical technologies. The rise of minimally invasive treatments, home-use equipment and digital medical imaging further induces the call for EMS innovations.More information about Electronic.
