AtHoc Exhibits Emergency Communication System and Fire-Life Safety Platform Integrations at 2012 NFPA Conference & Expo

Jun 14, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- AtHoc, Inc., a company focusing on network-centric emergency mass notification systems (EMNS), has announced its participation at the NFPA Conference & Expo taking place through June 14 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas.

At the event, AtHoc said it will showcase a fully integrated fire-life safety solution featuring its emergency communication and mass notification system (ECS/EMNS). Demonstrations will highlight integrations with fire alarm systems and vendors, including Notifier by Honeywell and SimplexGrinnell.

AtHoc's unified, EMNS solution transforms traditional fire systems into a modern, bi-directional platform that is compliant with NFPA72-2010, UFC and UL2572 codes. The Company noted that now, fire-life safety systems become multi-modal, multi-threat platforms offering communication channels, real-time personnel status assessment and much faster response time. AtHoc's Fire-Life Safety solution recently earned a Gold Govies Government Security Award in the Fire/Life Safety category, recognizing the company's approach to integrating traditional fire-life safety systems with its EMNS platform.

"When a natural or man-made disaster strikes, it's imperative that life-safety systems reach everyone onsite and offsite as quickly and efficiently as possible to deliver actionable information," said Ketan Joshi, vice president of new markets and corporate development for AtHoc. "AtHoc's solution extends an organization's existing fire system investment to handle a much broader array of threat conditions. We are pleased to demonstrate our comprehensive solution with two of industry's leading providers of life-safety systems at this year's NFPA conference."
