ClearConnex and Exosite take "Start Ahead" to the next level


CHICAGO, June 12, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Connected World: ClearConnex Inc, the innovative wireless M2M device engineering company and Exosite, a provider of cloud-connectivity solutions for embedded applications, today announced that ClearComm, the ClearConnex embedded device management software platform has been integrated with Exosite's One Platform, a cloud-based PaaS (Platform as a Service) for M2M and connected products.



ClearComm, which is hardware agnostic, supports modems and modules from industry leading companies including Sierra Wireless, Maestro Wireless and GenX Mobile will broaden the range of devices that can communicate with Exosite's One Platform. Exosite's One Platform is a hosted server-based system that makes it easy for developers to connect and manage products and applications using web service APIs to essentially create a virtual profile of that product in the cloud with which to interact, whether it's a web dashboard or a business intelligence application. The combination of ClearComm and the One Platform will provide a development environment across a wide range of applications including Fleet Management, Monitoring and Control and Manufacturing.

With the addition of Exosite to the out of the box experience of the M2M Quickstart Developer Kit users will now be able to realize an easy to use end-to-end solution within minutes of activating their kit. ClearComm enabled cellular products now have known device profiles within the Exosite One Platform, using Exosite Portals to visualize data from and interact with their products users can quickly and effectively prototype M2M solutions from device data to web based user interfaces. Incorporating a 90-day evaluation of Wyless network service with each M2M Quickstart Developer Kit purchased, users will have access to useful and stand alone M2M development solution within a single kit.
