Nimbus Flash Memory Systems Get Citrix Ready CertificationApr 19, 2012 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Nimbus Data Systems, Inc., a provider of Sustainable Storage, announced that all Nimbus flash memory systems, including the S-Class and the ultra-scalable E-Class, are now Citrix Ready certified, the Company announced. According to The Evaluator Group, a research firm covering desktop virtualization, nearly 50 percent of organizations deploying VDI face significant storage cost and performance challenges. "Delivering the necessary IOps for a successful VDI deployment using disk arrays would require a significant number of spindles, increasing acquisition and operating costs," said Russ Fellows, Senior Partner at The Evaluator Group.
