By replacing the manual process of writing tickets by hand with an e-citation solution, it allows field officers to issue more tickets in less time, which helps them to focus on patrolling and protecting the public. Also, all citation information is entered into the mobile computer, eliminating the need to deliver paper copies to local court offices or for multiple data entry. Additionally, e-citations considerably diminish the amount of time an officer is out of the vehicle and exposed to passing traffic, thereby increasing safety.
