ShoreTel and Windstream sign expanded distribution agreementNov 16, 2011 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- ShoreTel (Nasdaq:SHOR), a provider of IP phone systems with fully integrated unified communications (UC) and contact centre capabilities, announced on Tuesday an expanded distribution agreement with Windstream (Nasdaq:WIN), a communications and technology solutions provider. Under the new agreement, financial details of which were not available, Windstream will now be able to offer its business customers ShoreTel's complete solution set, including ShoreTel Unified Communications, ShoreTel Contact Centre and ShoreTel Mobility. Windstream is expanding the offering of ShoreTel solutions to business customers across Windstream's 29-state footprint. This was after a six-month market trial in Atlanta, Georgia; Greenville, South Carolina; Orlando, Florida; Kansas City, Missouri; St. Louis, Missouri and Tulsa, Oklahoma. This expansion of ShoreTel solutions is reportedly in line with Windstream's goal to provide advanced technology solutions to businesses of all sizes.
