Humbug Telecom Labs Reports Compatibility with PBX Models

Oct 19, 2011 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Humbug Telecom Labs, provider of carrier-class fraud prevention, detection and telecom analytics for any size business, announced its compatibility with 220+ PBX models from 66 vendors.

"Telecom hacking has become an everyday occurrence and PBX systems that are left unprotected become easy targets," said Art Gerasimov, CEO of AGG Software, in a release.

"It's akin to leaving your car keys in the ignition. Eventually, the wrong person is going to notice." "The AGG Software plug-in provides a remarkably easy and effective way to add our fraud protection for more than 90 percent of the PBX users worldwide," said Yaniv Rofe, CEO of Humbug Telecom Labs.

"Now even small businesses can get carrier grade fraud protection and free telecom analytics so they can focus on their business and not worry about losing tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars to telecom fraud." AGG Software has partnered with Humbug to provide a PBX plug-in that enables companies to connect their existing PBXs to the analytic and fraud tools provided by Humbug Labs. According to the Communications Fraud Control Association, telecom fraud, as a result of hacking and PBX hijacking, costs businesses over $80 billion each year.
