Aurora Networks Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

SANTA CLARA, Calif. --(Business Wire)--

Aurora Networks, Inc., the No. 1 optical transport solutions provider for cable operators, today named Craig McCollam as its chief financial officer (CFO). McCollam will play an instrumental role in spearheading the company's financial strategy and initiatives, while assisting the company in identifying growth opportunities, including potential future acquisitions.

McCollam, who has 28 years of professional financial experience, most recently served 18 years at Dionex Corporation in various financial roles, with the last 12 years as the CFO. During his time at Dionex, a publically traded, global manufacturing company, he successfully managed the corporation resulting in the sale of the company to a third-party for industry-high multiples. McCollam has expertise in multiple disciplines, including financial and strategic planning, corporate tax, risk management, treasury, cost accounting, human resources, information technology, investor relations and legal affairs.

In addition, McCollam's experience includes serving as an assistant controller at Ensco, Inc., where his duties ranged from managing all corporate accounting, financial analysis, and strategic planning functions. Prior to Ensco Inc., McCllam served at Ernst & Young, one of the largest professional services firms in the world.

Already on a strong path of success, the company recently achieved its 21st consecutive quarter of profitability. Aurora Networks continues to provide evolutionary solutions for cable operators, such as the recent release of the Universal Digital Return, a groundbreaking technology that provides cable operators with the opportunity to double their return path capacity using the recently reclaimed broadcast television spectrum.
