Lycom Communications Signs with ZCorum for Managed Broadband Services(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Alphareta, GA (PRWEB) April 29, 2011 ZCorum announced today that Lycom Communications has signed a multi-year agreement for managed broadband services and software. In addition to hosting the email accounts for Lycom’s broadband subscribers, ZCorum will handle the provisioning of cable modems and EMTAs, plus will provide access to the company’s cloud-based cable modem management and diagnostics application. Among other things, Skinner said providers use the tool for troubleshooting individual end-user modem and EMTA issues, tracking down plant-wide problems, and identifying opportunities to proactively improve cable plant performance. Skinner also noted that Lycom was looking for a partner that could help them as their business grows. “They won’t have to manage their own email servers now, and can use those resources elsewhere.
