Leading Danish Operator Chooses Aepona's Payments & Settlement Engine
for Unified 3rd Party Payment Solution
Aepona announced today that it has been chosen by TDC, Denmark's leading
provider of mobile and fixed-line telecommunications services, for the
provision of an advanced mobile payments solution allowing third party
providers of services, applications and content to charge for these services
via TDC's billing system. The solution opens up new monetization channels for
TDC's merchant partners and provides a highly convenient way for Danish
consumers to pay for a wide variety of goods and services, such as mobile
applications and content, bus and train tickets, vending machine goods, and
subscriptions to Internet services.
The solution is based on Aepona's market-leading Payments and Settlement
Engine, complementing the existing Aepona-provided 3rd-party access platform
that was launched by TDC in 2009 and completing the deployment by TDC of
Aepona's complete Universal Service Platform (USP) product offering.
