That's why Tellabs is doubling the capacity and throughput of the Tellabs(R) SmartCore(R) 9100 series with the introduction of the IPP2 (Intelligent Packet Processor) card, which offers twice as much processing capacity, twice as much throughput and twice as much performance. The increased capacity will be available on WiMAX (ASN-GW), 3GPP (GGSN) and LTE (EPC). In addition to the increased performance, the IPP2 retains all existing features of the IPP, including advanced granular QoS and advanced content intelligence. The larger capacity enables service providers to deliver more smart mobile Internet services and applications. The platform's ability to deliver content-aware, user-aware and context-aware intelligence helps optimize the network for lower cost and monetize it by creating new revenue streams. So now service providers can handle twice as much traffic, with all of the intelligence of the Tellabs(R) SmartCore(R) platform.
