Unilava and China Wi-MAX JV to deploy funds and resources in ChinaJan 20, 2011 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Unilava Corporation (OTC.BB:UNLA), a provider and developer of diversified communications and services, announced on Wednesday the first implementation of its LOI with China Wi-Max Communications (CHWM) (OTC.BB:CHWM), a telecommunications and IP transport company . The LOI is expected to help the companies identify funding and resource opportunities to support engineering and capital needs towards their joint venture, targeting markets of over USD60m in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. The joint venture will operate businesses with Unilava's recent data centre expansion with China Dragon Telecom, a pending acquisition, which will provide a component that will enable the companies to meet the increased data needs in China. Also, the JV will take advantage of the fact that CHWM has invested over USD4.0m in developing fibre wireless services in China to offer customers advanced technology, improved reliability and fast data speeds, the companies said.
