Yankee Group Expands Leadership Team with Appointment of New President and CEO Terry Waters


BOSTON --(Business Wire)--

Yankee Group today announced it is launching the next phase of its strategic growth plan with the appointment of information industry veteran Terry Waters as its new president and CEO. Waters will oversee the company's strategic direction and day-to-day operations, and will focus on helping clients address opportunities from the impact of global connectivity, what Yankee Group (News - Alert) terms "Anywhere."

Waters brings extensive strategic and operational experience in technology research, information technology, business services and other sectors. Previously, he was president and CEO of Highline Financial, a banking information and financial analytics company. He also held leadership roles with Gartner (News - Alert), Inc., including chief marketing officer with responsibility for the company's global marketing and corporate communications efforts, and president of its Executive Programs business unit. Before Gartner, Waters was chief operating officer for Screaming Media, a Web-based content aggregation, syndication and business services provider.
