D2 Technologies' COO to Speak on 4G Devices at 4G Wireless Evolution

Sequans Communications' vice president of marketing and business development, Craig Miller; Samsung Telecommunications America's director of platforms and technology strategy, Asokan Thiyagarajan; and Clearwire's (News - Alert) vice president, Dow Draper, will also attend the conference.

 
On October 4 at 2:15 p.m., Makishima and others will address how the industry is responding to the new opportunities presented by the many features and capabilities of 4G devices, as well as how the addition of WiMAX (News - Alert) and LTE networks affects the component marketplace.
 
On October 5 at 11:30 a.m., a breakout session within the Mobile Communications track at ITEXPO West 2010 "Achieving HD Voice on Smartphones" will be presented by Makishima. In addition, Makishima will also discuss how the delivery of high definition voice is being supported by the industry, and what adaptations will need to take place within the service provider sector.
