$1000 for Telstra workers

Jul 28, 2010 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Telstra has achieved its short-term customer service targets. As a result, 30,000 of the telco's staff will receive a $A1,000 bonus for 2009-10 year. The payment will be provided in August 2010, to full and part-time workers deemed to have "met expectations". Meanwhile, complaints about Telstra received by the communications watchdog in the three months to 30 March fell by about one third, compared with the corresponding period in 2009.
