Casey Powell Joins Lecere as Executive Management ConsultantPORTLAND, Ore., Jul 9, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) -- Software start-up Lecere Corporation (Pink Sheets:LCRE) (www.lecere.com) announced today that Eagle II Consulting, LLC, has been engaged to provide the services of Casey Powell as an Executive Management Consultant. Mr. Powell will join CEO Jim Morris as a member of Lecere's Senior Management Team. Mr. Powell will focus his immediate attention on the establishment of a contractual relationship with the Department of Defense for cloud-computing technology as applied to Just-in-Time (JIT) inventory management. Mr. Powell has been the Principal of Eagle II Consulting, LLC, since organizing the consultancy in 2001. He has acted as CEO of three companies during that period and acted as a consultant and Board Member of several others. He remains on the Board of Xiotech Corporation where he was CEO from February of 2005 to December of 2009. Mr. Powell was one of the founders of Sequent Computer Systems, Inc., and was CEO of the company from its inception in January 1983 to the time it was merged with IBM in the fall of 1999. The company grew to an annual run rate of $1 billion, with 2700 employees worldwide. Before joining Sequent, Mr. Powell was employed by Intel Corporation for nine years where his last position was General Manager for Microprocessor Operations.
