MicroStrategy Introduces New Dashboards

Jun 18, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- MicroStrategy, a provider of business intelligence (BI) software, announced that MicroStrategy 9 Release 2 delivers new dashboards.

MicroStrategy recently enhanced its technology to increase the amount of data that can be viewed within the dashboard and to increase the speed and scale of dashboard distribution, according to officials.

MicroStrategy compresses the data from traditional operational reports into small micro-databases that can contain many megabytes of data.

InSite, from AmerisourceBergen Drug Corp., delivers dashboards used to measure and compare pharmacy performance by organizing and analyzing detailed business transaction data collected from community pharmacies across the U.S.

"These dashboards provide a pharmacy with a comprehensive view of numerous key performance indicators, including rating the store's performance against a peer group of similar pharmacies," said Steve Kennedy, Manager of Customer Data Solutions, AmerisourceBergen.



Zilliant provides its clients with dashboards to convey timely and actionable insights about pricing and discounting, cross-selling and up-selling, and cost-to-serve.

"By integrating these dashboards into their CRM/ERP systems, or pushing them out in a scheduled manner, our clients help their salespeople and channel partners to win more business at better margins," said Javier Aldrete, Director of Product Management, Zilliant.
