BatchBlue Software, provider of the BatchBook social CRM for small businesses and entrepreneurs, has introduced the latest iteration of its flagship software, BatchBook.

The redesign includes feedback from BatchBlue customers and provides users with better usability, more flexibility for managing the Deals pipeline, a new Dashboard widget for monitoring comments within BatchBook. It also includes new partner integration with Sociotoco, a social media management agency, which will allow users to identify social media accounts of their contacts. Through the partnership with Sociotoco, BatchBook users are able easily search for a contact's presence in multiple social networks on the web including LinkedIn, Twitter and Flickr. The results are then automatically attached to the contact's social media Super Tag in BatchBook.

"While social CRM is one of the hottest topics in social media this year, most people just talk about it and few actually implement it,' says Jurgen Appelo, CIO of Sociotoco.

'BatchBlue proves that it is leading in the social CRM space by integrating the social search capabilities of Sociotoco into their product. Searching contacts in social networks is only the beginning of what can be achieved with social CRM. It's exciting to explore what will follow," Appelo adds.

Also, BatchBlue has added a high-level 'customer touchpoints' data snapshot to provide communication history of when the record was created, last updated, its most recent communication date and total number of communications for that contact. Personalized details for every contact can be dragged and dropped into a record and rearranged so that users can view details in their desired  format.

"The new version of BatchBook continues to support our company's mission of providing growing businesses with tools to make them more efficient. With the integration and our redesign, we've made important contact information more accessible and are providing clearer insight into relationships,' stated Sean Ransom, Vice President of Technology at BatchBlue. 'We've empowered our customers to display their data in the way that makes the most sense for their organizations."

'Small businesses thrive on personal connections,' added BatchBlue President Pamela O'Hara. 'With the Sociotoco integration, BatchBook just opened up so many more opportunities to make them happen.'

According to BatchBlue, user's contacts belong to the user. That means they should be easy to get in, easy to get out. BatchBook simply provides a handy place to store contact information and keep it organized in the way that makes sense for the user.
