(Albuquerque Journal (NM) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Mar. 15--Other presenters vying for venture capital funding at the 17th annual Technology Ventures Equity Capital Symposium in May are: Albuquerque Accent Alternatives Inc. has developed ATQ, a compound to prevent and treat prostate cancer. It seeks funding to create a detailed marketing and distribution plan and to secure production of ATQ.



Applied Messaging Inc. has developed a hybrid messaging system to help health care providers deliver targeted messages to reduce the number of no shows. It hopes to expand its product market.

Brivea LLC seeks funding to enhance its patent-pending BriveaScore technology to measure and improve the financial effectiveness of IT in a business.


Hyperion Power Generation Inc. is commercializing a small nuclear reactor designed by Los Alamos National Laboratory, initially focused on military, mining and market and remote community markets.

Liquid Common LLC has developed an online platform for business-toconsumer and businessto-business services for the food, drink and entertainment industries.

Microtection LLC was formed to commercialize explosives detection technology developed at Sandia National Labs. It plans to sell its patented MicroHound detector to the homeland security market.

OnQueue Technologies Inc. has developed an application platform to deliver interactive promotions and custom applications to iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices.

Prodentity LLC provides software solutions for access identity and information security. Its patentpending Digital Network Authorization integrates with identity management and security solutions.

US Hydrants LLC produces a utility truck configuration for consolidated fire hydrant services, including inspection, flow testing, valve exercising, cleaning and painting.

VisionQuest Biomedical LLC Albuquerque has developed a software-based screening technology for the detection of disease in retinal images, increasing throughput and driving down diagnostic costs.

Santa Fe Veezyon Corp. is a collaborative social learning platform that disseminates knowledge-based rich media content collected from university and association partners.

Others 5D Robotics of Idaho Falls, Idaho, develops software to make robots more intelligent, with several efforts ready to be commercialized to assure the military has robots that can find and neutralize explosive devices.

Intrepid Robotics Inc. of Idaho Falls, Idaho, has patents pending for robotic inspection of above-ground petrochemical storage tanks and marine vessels. It seeks funding to build first two sets of two robot models.

Airnet Group Inc. of Chattanooga, Tenn., specializes in hosting, securing, transporting, enriching and customizing data using the latest technological tools and patented processes.

Aldis Inc. of Oak Ridge, Tenn., is a sustainable energy company commercializing the vision processing platform, Gridsmart, to provide infrastructure and traffic congestion management and security solutions.

Washington ThermalCentric Corp., of Seattle, designs and manufactures heat exchangers for cost-effective waste heat recovery in highly corrosive waste streams that results in lower energy costs and reduced CO --emissions.

StableBody Technologies LLC, of Middleton Wis., is a biotechnology company commercializing a new service in antibody research, development and manufacturing.
