Manage-Trak Releases Messaging Web Services API Development Platform

Nov 20, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Manage-Trak announced the release of a secure messaging web services Application Programming Interface (API) for system integration and HITECH data in motion compliance.

According to Manage-Trak, this interface allows for an integration between the on-demand Encrypt-A-Note portal and external applications that need an encryption product to send sensitive information. The XML based framework is available to all users who wish to introduce a secure messaging component into their application. The basic WSAPI functionality allows a developer to build an interface to send secure messages (with attachments), view the inbox, attachments and other folders within the Encrypt-A-Note application. As more and more organizations begin to leverage applications in the cloud, WSAPI frameworks like Manage-Trak's become critical.

"This release will set us apart from other players in the secure messaging space due to its ease of use. Organizations can quickly use our secure messaging solution by leveraging our product in a familiar interface of their own system(s) which increases user adoption," said Aaron G. Blackledge, CTO.

Manage-Trak noted it will offer the WSAPI using the same encryption technology employed in the development of Encrypt-A-Note.
